AGFL 2.3 release notes
======================

The following changes have been implemented in version 2.3:

    - speed of processing has been significantly improved

    - version 2.3 recognises the following types of input file:
          [MANDATORY]  .gra - files, containing grammar rules (and possibly small numbers of lexemes);
	  [OPTIONAL]   .dat - files, containing lexemes (potentially in massive amounts).
      the .lex lexical interface file, which was mandatory in version 2.2
      when using .dat files to describe the lexical interface,
      is no longer recognised. In stead, the .gra file should contain a description of the lexical interface
      in the following format:

           LEXICON <lexicon1i> {, <lexiconN> }
	   DEFINES <rule+affixes1> {, rule+affixesM}>.

    - several minor bugs have been repaired

    - several messages have been improved

    - parser generator progress report messages are slightly changed
